Christmas Party

Last night was our annual Christmas party. Eighteen members attended. We had a pot luck dinner with some wonderful food and Jeannette's decorations were very pretty.

We had a gift exchange. We had a gift wrapping contest. We voted for our favorites and Carrie S and Dianne P tallied the votes. Scrappy Quilters Christmas Party 2008. Pat U. won the Perfectly Pretty category for her sled gift wrapping , Dot H. won Definitely Different for her basket, Pat G. won Wild and Crazy for her fried chicken box wrapping, and Karen G won Hopelessly Hideous with the butcher paper and electrical tape wrapping.


Carrie was responsible for the entertainment. She led us in a game of Jeopardy. Then we had our annual gift exchange. Each person brought a yard of fabric to exchange.

Pat G presented President Pat Wells with a gift from the guild. Pat now has a sewing tote on wheels. We also exchanged gifts from our secret sisters.
